Mains transformers
Rondo high-end audio toroidal transformers have numerous advantages over conventional transformers:
- compact construction up to 50% less volume and lower weight
- low-stray magnetic field, ratio around 1:8 compared with conventional transformers
- optimum level of effectiveness, through exceptionally low iron losses, core material used VM 111-35 P)
- no transformer buzzing
- good temperature characteristics through homogeneous distribution of windings over the whole iron core. Average temperature increase of 40 – 50 Kelvin (insulation material used of temperature class E corresponding to 120°C)
- simple installation
